INVICTA DYNAMOS’ head coach Kevin Parrish has insisted his side can still qualify for the ENIHL play-off final, ahead of their penultimate play-off South fixture against Cardiff on Sunday.
Dynamos face Cardiff again on March 29, with the Gillingham-based team needing maximum points – plus other results to go their way – if they are to make it to the Coventry showdown.
“Our chances are still high,” said Parrish. “After our terrible start to the play-offs we’ve had to battle for results and we have to keep our mini winning run going and hope fate goes our way.
“We intend to keep our heads down and make sure we are prepared properly.”
Cardiff could pose Invicta’s easiest post-season test to date, as the Dragons have been convincingly beaten in their away ties at Peterborough and Streatham.
But despite their travel sickness, Parrish isn’t taking them lightly.
“It’s difficult to figure out what kind of game Cardiff will bring to the table, but from talking to other coaches around the league it sounds like it will be another tough game as they work extremely hard,” he added.
