CHARLTON swept West Ham aside to take a vital three points from the huge relegation battle at The Valley on Saturday.

Goals from Darren Ambrose, Jerome Thomas (two) and the returning Darren Bent made it an unhappy return to Charlton for ex-boss Alan Curbishley.
