SHEPPEY’S top pool players will be seeking glory this weekend as they played in national finals in Great Yarmouth.

The nine-man team will play Swanage and Northampton in the round robin phase of the competition and will hope to progress further.

On the same weekend, 11 Island pool players will be among 456 in the qualifying rounds of the men’s world championships. Mark Sheather, Paul Rogers, Dave Goldsmith, Aaron Armstrong, Danny Harris, Dave Thompson, Paul Bradnock, Daniel Endicott, Dave Norris, Adrian Horn and Steve Goodwin will be involved.
