Hat-trick hero Ryan Martin has revealed the secret behind his free-kick exploits - practice.

The 21-year-old scored a hat-trick on his Welling debut at Bath on Saturday including two free-kicks.

"I work really hard on them in training and it paid off," said Martin.

"I think Joe Healy and Charlie Sheringham worked really hard on them with me.

"The other goal was from a cut back but I had to make sure I hit the target then as well."
