Ramsgate v Maidstone

A crowd in excess of 500 is expected at Southwood tonight (Tuesday) when Ramsgate lock horns with Ryman League Premier Division rivals Maidstone.

Ramsgate manager and former Stones boss Jim Ward, who chalked up a first league win of the season with Saturday's 1-0 victory at Harrow, said: "I love these derby games.

"If it doesn't get the players' adrenaline pumping then nothing will. Maidstone enjoy a big support away from home and we're expecting somewhere in the region of 500 plus for the match."

Buoyed by Saturday's first league win at Harrow, Ward has announced an unchanged side with weekend match-winner Aaron Firth again on the bench.

Rams have yet to win at home this season with all their goals at Southwood coming from striker Mo Takaloo. Takaloo returned to the club from Maidstone at the end of last season having scored the goal which saved the Stones from relegation and sent Folkestone down on the final day.

"He'll be fired up against his old club looking to score more goals," Ward added.
