THE Football Association have given Ryman League Ramsgate the go ahead to stage a friendly against a Morroccan Representative Xl at Southwood on Wednesday, March 21.
The Moroccan side will include players who compete in English non-League and league clubs and is the brainchild of Chuck Martini, a former Moroccan international.
Martini started as a YTS with Spurs before spells at Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers, winning two FA Trophies, a Conference title and a Division 3 play-off.
After that he moved to the USA where he played professionally for Dallas and Connecticut, before returning to the UK in 1999 to spend two years with Kings Lynn before moving on to Sutton United and then Kingstonian and Molesey.
The match at Southwood on Wednesday will kick off at 7.45pm.
