THE Kent Umpires’ Association are running a pre-season refresher course to provide grass roots cricket officials with an update on recent law and ECB playing regulation changes.

The keynote speaker will be Paul Bedford, the ECB’s head of non-first-class cricket operations and the course is open to all umpires throughout Kent, irrespective of qualification and or experience.

The event takes place on Sunday, March 9 from 10am to 3pm at Canterbury Christ Church University, is free of charge and includes refreshments and a light lunch.
