ROD Wallace scored his first goal for the club as Gillingham bounced back from the previous week's home defeat by Coventry to grind out a hard-earned point at Millmoor on Saturday.
Wallace struck in the 17th minute when he turned in Guy Ipoua's cross from close range.
Rotherham had taken a 13th minute lead when Barry Ashby put the ball into his own goal from Chris Sedgwick's cross.
Wallace should have won the game for Gillingham in the closing stages but missed his kick from Ipoua's cross.
