Kent v East Midlands
KENT can book a home semi-final draw if they beat East Midlands in their final County Championship Pool Three group game at Canterbury on Saturday.
Danny Vaughan's side will be wary after being beaten 38-35 by East Mids in the opening game of last season's competition.
Kent are on a roll this time round and followed their 81-5 win over Berkshire by beating Eastern Counties 28-13.
Ben Smith (Canterbury), Toby Carroll (Tonbridge Juddians) and Mark Ryan (Maidstone) scored the tries at Cambridge with Frankie Neale (Blackheath/Saracens) kicking the rest of the points.
Canterbury coach Vaughan is confident that his side can reach the knock-out stages.
Vaughan said: "Last year East Mids blew us away early on, so we're expecting a tough game, but at home we have to be confident we can reach the semis."
Deal and Betteshanger teenager Tom Best could start at fly-half for the pool decider but Vaughan has some injury worries at scrum-half.
Dave Marshall picked up a shoulder injury but Canterbury's Nicky Woodbridge, who played against Berkshire, returns to the squad.
