Ryman League Premier Division round-up

Dover stretched their lead at the top of the table to four points after they won 1-0 at Hastings while second-place Staines could only manage a draw.

Frannie Collin got the only goal of the game from the penalty spot three minutes before half-time after a handball.

But there was concern for Craig Cloke - who was taken to hospital with his leg in a brace after falling awkwardly just before the winning goal.

Staines' point came at Ramsgate. The visitors went ahead in the 56th minute - but the Rams fought back and levelled 10 minutes from time when Mo Takaloo volleyed home after Jay May had flicked on a free kick.

Tonbridge are up to sixth after a 2-1 victory over Heybridge Swifts at Longmead.

Kirk Watts smashed in the opener on 22 minutes after being found by Chamel Fenlon.

Neil Cousins looked to have salvaged a point for the visitors when he netted with 15 to play - but Carl Rook had restored the Angels' lead within two minutes when he rose to head in John Westcott's centre.

Margate recorded their first away win of the season with a deserved, though slightly unexpected, 1-0 success at Ashford Town (Middlesex), who started the day in third place.

Michael Power's first for the club was the difference between the sides. The goal came in the 65th minute after Dan Stubbs chased and retrieved what looked like a lost cause before finding Kenny Pratt, who in turn set up Power to finish.

A brace apiece for Brendan Cass and Lee Noble saw Dartford storm to a 4-0 win over Horsham at Princes Park.

Cass' second on 84 minutes was the pick of the bunch as he volleyed home sweetly after Jamie Coyle had flicked the ball to him.

Maidstone ended the day in fifth place after taking a point from their trip to Harrow Borough despite a poor display.

The Stones went ahead completely against the run of play - although Harrow defender Danny Leech had hit the inside of his own post early on - after 31 minutes when John Wilfort clipped the ball in to Meshach Nugent, who spun and fired a left-foot shot into the bottom corner.

But the inevitable equaliser eventually arrived 10 minutes from time when Jonathan Constant outpaced the United defence and finished coolly.
