Martin Saggers took all nine wickets in the second eleven friendly between a combined Kent/Northants XI and Yorkshire at Beckenham on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old seamer finished the day with figures of 9-62 as the visitors struggled to 119-9 off 43 overs.
However he missed out on getting all 10 when the game was abandoned as a draw, after the county made the decision to switch the Friends Provident Trophy quarter-final against Somerset following the wash-out at Canterbury.
The Kent / Northants side also included Neil Dexter and Matthew Walker.
