DOVER ATHLETIC remain top of Ryman League Division 1 South after a last gasp Craig Cloke goal earned them a point at Kingstonian on Saturday.

Whites took the lead when Frannie Collins cross was turned into his own net by Wayne Finnie.

But the home side hit back and looked like they would take the points after goals by Simon Huckle and Dean Lodge turned the game around.

However, Cloke's late intervention keeps Andy Hessenthaler's side a point above Tooting & Mitcham.

Cray Wanderers are now just three points off the leaders after a 2-0 win over Leatherhead.

A goal in each half from Ross Lover (22) and Ryan Royston (66) was enough for the home side, who stretched their unbeaten run to 13 games.

Sittingbourne sit in eighth place after they returned home from Burgess Hill Town with all three points.

In a game of few chances, Bradley Spice's 20th minute penalty made all the difference as the Brickies won by a single goal.

Ashford Town also won their first match of 2008 at Horsham YMCA.

Strikes by Sean Ray and Mark Lovell earned Steve Lovell's team a 2-1 away victory.

But a poor performance from Whitstable Town saw them suffer a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Walton Casuals at Belmont.

Danny Tipple gave the home side a first half lead but they conceded three second half goals which made Liam Quinn's late goal a mere consolation.

Chatham Town are now four games without a win after playing out a goalless draw with Croydon Athletic at Maidstone Road.

Dartford stay second in the Ryman League Division 1 North table despite a 4-0 victory at Witham Town.

James Coyle set the Darts on their way in the first half and further strikes after the break by Ryan Hayes, Eddie McClements and Brendan Cass secured the points.

The visitors could even afford the luxury of a missed penalty from Hayes.

Margate moved up to sixth in the Ryman League Premier Division with a 2-1 win over Ashford Town (Middlesex) at Hartsdown Park.

With AFC Hornchurch losing, goals from James Pinnock and Rob Haworth were enough to see Robin Trott's men leapfrog the Essex side in the table.

Ramsgate remain fourth but suffered a 2-0 defeat at Staines Town, who are now within a point of Jim Ward's side.

The visitors weren't helped by the dismissal of Nick Davis before half-time and the Swans could even afford to miss a penalty at 1-0.

Folkestone Invicta sit in 17th place after a 2-0 victory over basement side Leyton at the Buzzlines Stadium.

Liam Friend and Leigh Bremner got the goals and Invicta also struck the woodwork twice through Kevin Watson and Damian Abel.

Tonbridge Angels stay third from bottom after goals from Tommy Tyne and John Westcott earned them a 2-2 with Boreham Wood at Longmead.

Finally, a second half comeback saw Bromley recover to take maximum points from their Blue Square South trip to Bognor Regis Town.

Alex Haddon gave the home side a 29th minute lead but Gareth Williams (60) and Nic McDonnell (79) turned the match on its head after the break.
