BROMLEY are back on top of the Ryman League Premier Division after beating Tonbridge Angels 3-0 in a Kent derby at Hayes Lane on Saturday.

Gareth Williams set the Lillywhites on their way with a deflected free-kick on the quarter hour mark, before another first half strike from Tutu Henrique - who buried the rebound after Kirk Watts had hit the bar - and a second half goal from substitute Nic McDonnell sealed the win.

Angels' Jon Main did hit a post in the first half but it was a comfortable victory in the end for the home side.

Leaders at the start of the day Margate were on the wrong end of a five-goal thrilller at Hampton and Richmond Borough.

Gate gave themselves a montain to climb by finding themselves three goals and a man down by half-time. Lee Hodges header and two Eliot Godfrey penalties had the home side in control, while Justin Skinner was shown a red card.

But Margate rallied and pulled a goal back just after half-time through James Pinnock, but immediately suffered a blow as Steve McKimm was dismissed during the melée that followed.

But it was fine afternoon for Ashford Town who took all three points from their clash with Metropolitan Police at Homelands.
