DOVER ATHLETIC have gone top of Ryman League Division 1 South after a convincing 3-0 home win over Corinthian-Casuals on Saturday.

Two goals from Jimmy Dryden and a late goal by John Keister sealed the win for the Whites and saw them replace Tooting & Mitcham as league leaders.

That happened because Tooting were held to a 2-2 draw at Sittingbourne as goals by Kieran Marsh and substitute Hicham Akhazzan cancelled out a brace from visiting player Matt York.

Ashford Town collected their first point since Steve Lovell took over as they drew 1-1 with Burgess Hill Town at Homelands thanks to a debut goal by Mark Lovell.

Chatham Town took a point from their trip to Whyteleafe. The home side hit the woodwork twice but Chats survived to see out a goalless draw.

Whitstable Town were beaten 3-1 at Worthing.

Maidstone United staged a superb fightback to snatch a 4-3 win in their Ryman League Premier Division derby clash at Margate.

Luis Cumbers equalised an early Jay Saunders goal for Margate, but then the home side raced into a 3-1 lead thanks to Rob Haworth and another Saunders strike.

But a Robin Trott own goal offered Maidstone hope and then Cumbers equalised before laying on a dramatic injury-time winner for Andy Martin.

The Stones are now unbeaten in nine and lie sixth in the league table.

Tonbridge Angels came from a goal down to win 2-1 against Wealdstone at Longmead. Scott Kinch and Hamid Barr netted for the home side.

Stuart Vahid's early goal wasn't enough for Ramsgate as they went down 2-1 at Carshalton.

Manager Jim Ward was left frustrated as Tony Quinton equalised with eight minutes to play before Luke Fontana snatched a stoppage-time winner from the penalty spot.

Folkestone Invicta were also beaten as they suffered a 2-0 reverse at table-toppers Chelmsford City.

Dartford missed the chance to go top of Ryman League Division 1 North as they were beaten 2-0 at Redbridge.
