CHAIRMAN Paul Scally has branded rumours of Gillingham going into administration as "nonsense".
Mr Scally has met with the club’s bankers again to discuss the current debt but believes there is still a way out of the current financial situation.
With an overdraft of more than £10million, speculation was mounting that the bank were going to pull the plug but Mr Scally remained positive.
He said: "I don’t know why supporters are talking about administration because that’s absolute nonsense.
"We’re pushing forward on the new stadium. The club have no long-term future unless we move into a new stadium."
