GILLINGHAM chairman Paul Scally has promotion on his mind and believes the club's new-look squad can deliver.
A flurry of transfer activity last week boosted expectations and Mr Scally hopes more players will arrive soon.
He said: "We're getting a very balanced side now that's capable of promotion to the Championship. We were a bit stale before and there were players here at the club that had been here too long.
"There were players with inflated egos and they're all gone now. The players here are hungry and want to do well."
