Bristol City v Charlton
CHARLTON midfielder Jose Semedo's ever-present record in the Championship ends tonight at Bristol City where he serves a one-match suspension following his dismissal for a second caution at Southampton on Saturday.
Darren Ambrose is his likely replacement in an otherwise unchanged side with manager Alan Pardew likely to opt for the 4-5-1 formation that worked so well in helping the Addicks secure a third away win at Southampton.
Second placed City will be bidding for a fifth home win that would enable them to close the gap on leaders Watford to two points. City have been described as the Championship's surprise package, though not by Pardew.
He said: "I'm a big fan of their manager, Gary Johnson, who has done a great job at Yeovil and now at Bristol City. The atmosphere at Ashton Gate will be a little bit more venomous than perhaps Southampton, so our players will have to cope with that.
"City are a team that like to play football and I'm looking forward to the game."
