Littlestone Golf Club’s Chris Reynolds has again been selected to play for England in the European Seniors Team Championships which are being held in Ireland this year in the second week of August.
Back in April, Reynolds started his season well when he tied with the winning score of 145 in the 36-hole Romer Bowl at Littlestone.
In June he finished in third place in the English Seniors Championship held at Knole Park and Wildernesse with scores of 74, 73 and 75 (222), only two shots behind the eventual winner.
Reynolds felt that as his last round contained five birdies and two double bogies a better position was possible.
He has also helped Kent qualify for the English Seniors County Finals for the fourth consecutive year. Kent are the reigning champions and the only County to qualify from the South East in the championship this year.
