KENT showjumper Dinah Roud is off to the finals of a national show jumping championship for the second year running.
The Hawkinge rider is through to the finals of the KBIS Equestrian National Amateur Show Jumping Championships, which take place this weekend at Arena UK in Lincolnshire.
The series attracts thousands of entries in its early rounds, staged across Britain, and the best riders must win their way through first rounds and regional finals to make the Championship.
"We qualified at Golden Cross Equestrian Centre in East Sussex," said Dinah. "We finished third in the 90cms regional final, which drew a big entry. I was fairly early in the jump-off and tried to push on and not just go for a double clear, and was pleased to finish well up the order and hold onto third."
