Spitfires' skipper Rob Key was proud of his side following their 22-run NatWest Pro40 League win over Division 2 rivals Warwickshire on Sunday.
Key said the squad showed plenty of character in putting their heavy four-day defeat in Taunton behind them with a solid performance against the Bears.
He said: "We have a few well deserved days off coming up and to be honest the boys can't wait.
"From a poor championship display against Somerset the side have bounced back to put on a decent show here in Birmingham.
"We probably should have got closer to 250 with the bat and if anything myself and Matt Walker probably had a crack a little too early, but 220 was a decent enough score.
"After that, Azhar and Yasir were fantastic and the same can be said of Simon Cook, who bowled really well at a tense time."
Kent's side will now have their first days off in over a fortnight before starting their Twenty20 finals day preparations later in the week.
