MICHAEL FLYNN looks to have kicked his last ball in Gillingham's colours after turning down the offer of a new contract.

And chairman Paul Scally insists no further offer is going to be made.

Mr Scally said: "We've made him a very good offer but he's turned it down. We're not here as a convenience for people."

Flynn top scored for the Gills last season, with 12 goals from midfield, and felt he was worthy of a better offer.

He said: "They could have shown me they wanted to keep me a little bit more."
