NINE-MAN Sittingbourne suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Enfield Town in Southern League Division 1 East on Saturday.
The Brickies had led through an own goal, but were 3-1 down by half-time. A Michael Smissen goal gave them hope, but when they were reduced to 10 men the task became harder and Enfield soon restored their two-goal cushion.
The home side were reduced to nine men shortly before full-time.
Chatham Town suffered a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Arlesey. Ryan Nicholl scored the only goal of the game on 61 minutes.
But it was better news for Dartford who earned a share of the points at Harlow Town when James Carter equalised with 19 minutes to play.
