Margate v Basingstoke
STRIKER Che Stadhart aims to continue his re-found goal touch when Margate face Basingstoke in Nationwide South at Homelands on Saturday.
Stadhart's goal in the 2-1 win at Thurrock last week was his first in 10 league games since scoring twice in a 3-3 draw at St Albans in November. He is still the club's leading scorer with 11, one more than Rocky Baptiste.
The win at Ship Lane ended Margate's best week of a troubled campaign, but most of the talk since has surrounded Chris Kinnear and the vacant manager's job at Gravesend and Northfleet.
Basingstoke, managed by former Fulham and Crystal Palace defender Ernie Howe have won only once in the last six games, and have dropped to seventh in the table. They won 2-1 when the teams met in Hampshire in late November.
Margate had the luxury of fielding a 14 man squad last week, and with John Keister and Moses Jjunju both in good form they will be confident of stretching their winning run to four games for the first time this season.
