Gillingham manager Mark Stimson will get the chance to examine some of the fringe players today when the club play an in-house match.

Stimson will have a practice game at their Beechings Cross training ground in a bid to look at several trialists.

The Gills manager could also give Nicky Southall and Luis Cumbers a run out after the pair both stepped up training following recent injuries.

Among those hoping to impress will be trialists winger Alistair John.

Stimson is also likely to field several new faces who have been keen to show what they can do to the Gills boss.
