STIMSON: "We can't get carried away"

Gillingham v Northampton

MANAGER Mark Stimson has challenged his Gillingham players to push on during the second half of the season.

The Gills, who host Oldham on Tuesday night, have back-to-back home games with the visit of Northampton on Saturday.

Stimson said: "We have put ourselves in a decent position with a lot of hard work and effort.

"If we take that into Saturday's game then I'm sure with the way we have played in the last four or five games we can cause them problems and hopefully get some points.

"It's nice to see the table now because of where we are. But we can't get carried away.

"We won away at Crewe and then had two games we thought we could get maximum points from.

"But we didn't get any so we've got to do better than the last time we were in this situation. If we do, that will put us in the right direction."

Ian Cox (thigh), Efe Sodje (eye injury) and Leroy Griffiths (flu) have all returned to training.

Adam Miller will be free to face Northampton after his red card at Huddersfield was overturned on appeal.
