Welling United v Lewes

WELLING finish their season at home to Lewes on Saturday with manager Adrian Pennock facing two injury concerns.

Keeper Charlie Mitten is struggling with a thigh injury and Lee Spiller is also a doubt with an ankle knock.

However, Pennock is already planning for next season after Wings secured their Nationwide Conference South status last weekend.

He has vowed to revamp his squad during the summer and has already lined up potential transfer targets.

He said: "The league table doesn't lie and I need players who want to wear the shirt with pride and play with hunger in their belly.

"There are players who have been at the club this year just picking up a wage and not too worried about Welling United.

"Graham and Barrie Hobbins live and die for this club. I've been here for four months now and I've fallen in love with the place - I want to do so well for Welling United."
