MARGATE boxer Takaloo is planning to return to the ring in early September.

An opponent has yet to be named for the fight but the Margate Rock is now gearing his training towards that month.

“I am getting ready for the first couple of weeks in September,” he said. “Providing my passport comes through in time, I am going to Las Vegas next month to have some sparring against the American guys.”

Takaloo is making good progress recover from a wrist injury picked up in his last fight against Argentinian Jose Rosa Gomez in May.

“I haven’t started punching again yet, but there is no pain in my hand,” he added.
