CELTIC youngster youngster Mark Staunton became Charlton's fourth summer signing after agreeing a three-year professional contract.

The 17-year-old Scottish youth international central defender caught Charlton's attention while playing in a European Championship qualifier for the Scottish Under-17 side.

"He is a powerful defender with plenty of attributes and we believe he can develop at Charlton," said Academy manager Steve Gritt.
