INVICTA East Kent AC are staging the Challock Goose Fair 10-mile race on Sunday, September 12, at 10.30am, for the third year.

It is an accurately measured, undulating course on hard, fast tracks through beautiful forests.

There are drinks stations en route, mile markers plus refreshment tents and toilets.

The start and finish are on Challock village green at the centre of the historic village fair, for which all runners get free entry, worth £2.

There are prizes for first three in each age category, first teams and £50 cash for a new course record, held by Barry Royden and Helen Wheeler. Entries on the day are not eligible for prizes.

There is also a children’s fun run, £1 on the day. Entry forms are available from:
