Kent recovered from losing their first two games in the Friends Provident Trophy to book their place in a second one-day final of the summer.

They have already faced Essex twice in the competition - with each side winning a game apiece.

The star of the campaign has undoubtedly been Kent's Martin van Jaarsveld who has been in stunning form with the bat.
