Things looking up for Gate

Wealdstone v Margate

Margate manager Terry Yorath believes climbing out of the relegation zone on Saturday has given his side a huge psychological boost as they continue their battle against relegation from the Ryman League Premier Division.

Gate’s 3-1 victory against Boreham Wood, their third straight home win, propelled them above Harrow, Ramsgate and Harlow ahead of Saturday’s away game at Wealdstone.

Yorath said: “The mental effect of getting out of the relegation zone should give us a lift going into next weekend at Wealdstone.

“It will be a tough game up there, but with the league being so tight, another win for us will bring more teams down into the relegation scrap.”

Only Roberto Corbishley and Kieran Morris (injured) and Curtis Robinson (suspended) are expected to miss the trip to Grosvenor Vale.
