GILLINGHAM midfielder Stuart Thurgood has returned to Blue Square Premier side Grays on loan.

The 26-year-old has been left out of manager Mark Stimson’s sides recently and has moved on a month’s deal to get first team action.

Stimson said: “At this moment in time I can’t guarantee him first team football week in, week out.”

Thurgood last appeared for the Gills in the 4-0 defeat at Northampton a month ago and he has made 12 appearances since signing from Grays in November.
