MARGATE youngster Osman Sesay is spending this week on trial with Premiership side Fulham.

The 17-year-old defender has attracted several enquiries from leading clubs in recent weeks. with runaway Championship leaders Reading also tracking his progress.

A Margate spokesman said: "As part of the club's policy to support the progress of any player with the opportunity of joining a Premiership or Football League club the directors have approved an approach."

Sesay joined Margate from Carshalton Athletic at the start of the season, orginally as a forward, but has impressed as a wing-back making 22 league and cup appearances. He has also won London Under-17 representative honours.
