Kent captain James Tredwell has been named in the England squad for next week's Twenty20 series against New Zealand.
England take on the Kiwis at The Oval on Tuesday and Thursday and 31-year-old Tredwell is one of two spinners in the squad of 14.
He could play alongside batsman Kevin Pietersen, who is back in the England squad for the first time since being sidelined with a knee injury.
Tredwell's call-up comes on the back of his latest impressive display for England in the ICC Champions Trophy.
He was man-of-the-match in Wednesday’s seven-wicket semi-final win over South Africa at The Oval.
Tredwell, who has yet to be on the losing side playing for England in one-day internationals this summer, finished with excellent figures of 3-19 from seven overs as England bowled out South Africa for 175.
The Kent man bowled JP Duminy and had Faf Du Plessis and Chris Morris caught behind by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, who ended the innings with six catches.
England will meet either India or Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy final at Edgbaston on Sunday.
