Kent captain James Tredwell was named in the England side to face Ireland in an ODI clash in Dublin on Tuesday.
The spinner sat out the two t20 clashes with Australia last week but was named in the starting line-up for the warm-up game against Ireland - which starts at 10,30am - which precedes a five-match NatWest series against the Australians, which starts on Friday at Headingley.
Further games follow at Old Trafford on Sunday, Edgbaston on September 11, Cardiff on September 14 and at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on September 16.
The 31-year-old’s former Kent teammate Michael Carberry is also in the side to make his England ODI debut.
It will be Romney Marsh ace Tredwell’s 20th one-day international appearance for England and sixth this summer. He has also played seven international t20s taking three wickets at 55 runs apiece.
Tredwell misses Kent’s games against Glamorgan, also starting on Tuesday.
The club will also be without pace-man Mitchell Claydon, who has spent much of the season on loan from Durham, after he was recalled amid an injury-crisis at the Riverside.
