Tucker flies the flag in Toronto

Peter Tucker made his international debut when he represented England in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in Canada.

In a high quality race, which was won in 2hrs11mins, the Kent runner finished in 24th place in 2.30.35.

The Blackheath & Bromley athlete warmed up for this race with wins in both the Dorney Lake Windsor 10km (32.15) and the Burnham Beeches Half Marathon (70.01).

He had gained his selection for the Toronto race on the back this year's London Marathon where he ran 2.23.12, the 10th quickest time in the country this year.
