MAIDSTONE & Medway athletes representing the South of England performed well at the inter-regional match at Watford on Sunday.

Jenni Pereira won the 3000m junior event with a time of 9:49.05 and came fourth overall running alongside the seniors.

Andy Thomas won the 2000m steeplechase mixed race with a time or 5:49.08, while Tim Alexander was disappointed to finish fifth in the senior men’s 800m with a time of 1:56.07.
