Two new directors for Gate

MARGATE supporters were this week waiting for an official statement from the club after Monday’s planned Extraordinary General Meeting at Hartsdown Park was called off at the last minute due to a “technicality”.

More than a dozen shareholders turned up to be told a board meeting earlier in the day had voted majority shareholder Gary Lever and supporter Alan Bonner onto the existing board of directors.

Another EGM has been called for Tuesday May 27.
