Kent golfer Sarah Tyson has reached the third round of the British Girls' Championship.
The 16-year-old and recent English Girls' Golf champion, is one of only four English girls to reach the quarter-finals of the national competition being held at Monifieth in Scotland.
Having beaten Scot Kelsey MacDonald (3 and 2) in the first round Tyson, from Redlibbets Golf Club near Ash, then beat Austrian Carolin Pineggar (4 and 3).
She now faces Sophia Popov of Germany for a place in the last eight.
