United Arab Emirates 2 Gillingham 1

DEAN MCDONALD'S second half strike was not enough as the United Arab Emirates came from a goal down to defeat Gillingham on Tuesday.

McDonald, on as a subsitute for Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu, gave Ronnie Jepson's side a deserved lead on the hour when he turned his man and hit a sublime chip over the keeper from the edge of the box.

But UAE turned the game around, first equalising in the 63rd minute and then getting the winner 15 minutes from time.

Gillingham: Murphy, Clohessy, Okuonghae (Cox 53), Johnson (Sancho 69), Jackman (Easton 38), Isham (Stone 38), Flynn (Crofts 38), Bentley (Pouton 65), Jarvis (Collin 79), Ndumbu-Nsungu (McDonald 53), Mulligan (Pugh 69).
