VIGO Village Primary School claimed the Kent Tag Rugby Festival title at the county finals hosted by Aylesford Rugby Club.

The two-day tournament marked the end of four months of rugby in which the school beat sides from all over the county to take the prestigious award.

More than 4,000 boys and girls took part in the competition from the outset, before qualification whittled the field down to the best 64 teams.
