PLAYER-MANAGER Andy Hessenthaler will be missing from the Gillingham line-up to play at Sheffield United tomorrow night - and there's also a doubt over the fitness of striker Rod Wallace.
Hessenthaler had to withdraw from the side against Wolves because of the first hamstring problem he has suffered during his career, while Wallace has a shin injury.
Meanwhile, Hessenthaler is hoping that club chairman Paul Scally will loosen the purse strings in the hope that he can sign a centre-back on loan.
The manager said: "We need another centre-half and I'll be speaking to the chairman to see if I can get someone in.”
After seeing his side beat Gillingham 6-0 on Saturday, Wolves manager Dave Jones said: “I've been saying for ages that we'd give someone a good hiding and it’s finally happened.
“But I didn't think it would come against a side as durable as Gillingham."
