Tamworth v Welling
WELLING travel to Tamworth for the second successive Tuesday this evening hoping to claim a place in the last 16 of the FA Trophy.
The tie was abandoned last Tuesday after floodlight failure after 40 minutes with the score goalless.
It gave Welling a chance to view their opponents at close quarters but boss Adrian Pennock insisted that they have already done their homework.
"We had their first game with Altrincham scouted and then I went to watch the replay so we know plenty about Tamworth," said Pennock.
"It was good for the players that they played them last week and know that they can do it again this time.
"Apart from the first 10 minutes we looked very strong and we looked like we could score goals against them."
Although there are no new injury concerns, Welling's biggest problem will be fielding a strong side.
Pennock was keeping his cards close to his chest but admitted that key players could miss the game due to their part-time status.
"It's a big blow to us, players have to take another half-day off work for the second Tuesday running with short notice," he said.
"But we'll still go there full of confidence and give it a good go - we want to win the game at the first time of asking."
Welling go into the game on the back of a 1-0 home win over Eastbourne on Saturday while Tamworth remain bottom of the Conference after losing at Forest Green.
The Wings welcome back skipper Jamie Day from suspension but Dane Springer, who scored the winner against Eastbourne, is ruled out.
