WESTCOMBE PARK took a share of the points after securing a 22-22 draw against Waterloo in National League 2.

The home side started strongly and scored two tries inside the first 10 minutes.

The first was scored by Lee Campion when he used his pace to beat the visitors defence before going over in the corner.

Graeme Frith then added a second which was converted by Paul Trendell.

Waterloo pulled a converted try back before Trendell kicked a penalty to give Westcombe a 15-7 lead.

In the second half, John Moyce went over for Park's final try but the visitors always kept touch and forced a draw with a late converted try.
