Craig Whitehead celebrated his return to the side with the late penalty that helped Maidstone break their London 2 South duck with an 11-10 win over Old Colfeians at The Mote on Saturday.

However last-ditch defending helped them survive 12 minutes stoppage time, after losing prop John O Brien early on with a serious knee injury, with debutant hooker Sam Rogers forced off at half-time.
Whitehead kicked the home side 3-0 ahead, but a late try put Colfe's 5-3 up at half-time.
Neil Graves crashed over seven minutes after the interval to make it 8-5, before Colfe's second score of the afternoon restored their two-point advantage.
However Whitehead proved Maidstone's match-winner, but every player contributed to the cause as they edged home in a tight encounter.
