Weymouth v Welling
WELLING manager Adrian Pennock starts a tough month of fixtures with a trip to Weymouth on Saturday.
It is one of three away matches for the Wings in February, a list that also includes a home game with runaway leaders Grays.
But the Wings boss, who has seen his side draw their last two matches, insists the squad travel in confident mood.
Pennock said: "The next three games look hard on paper with Grays and Hornchurch to come as well. Weymouth have picked up lately but we are working hard as a team and will go there with plenty of confidence."
Defender James Smith is included in the squad after rejoining the club. Smith left on Pennock's first day in charge but proposed moves to Nationwide Conference clubs fell through and he has returned on an 18-month contract.
Pennock added: "James admitted he made a mistake but I understood that he wanted to see if he could move to a higher league."
On-loan midfielder Matt Lovell could play his last game for the club with managerless Gravesend having the option of calling him back after the Weymouth match.
Pennock also has the luxury of choosing between fit-again goalkeeper Charlie Mitten and Gills youngster Danny Knowles, who has just signed a one-year professional contract at Priestfield.
