Hayes v Welling
WELLING manager Adrian Pennock is looking for his first win at the helm when his side travel to Hayes on Saturday.
Pennock's first game in charge ended in a 2-1 defeat at Lewes and the new boss is keen to register his first three points.
He said: "I want to get that first win under my belt as quickly as possible. We watched Hayes play their FA Trophy replay on Tuesday night so we know a bit of what we will be up against."
Pennock also praised the vocal support for the team at Lewes and wants the club's fans to help lift the side.
He added: "The noise from the Welling fans at Lewes was excellent, especially in the first half. It was a shame we couldn't get a result for them because they really backed us.
"There are things that need to be improved on and I can see that. But the team spirit is there and if we can build on that, then we will do well."
Pennock is likely to have Ian Wiles (illness) back in the side so Matt Lovell will revert to a midfield role.
However, Matt Lee has suffered a setback with his knee injury and may need a further operation while keeper Charlie Mitten is another week away from full fitness.
