Welling United 4 - 1 Redbridge

WELLING United are through to the second round of the FA Trophy after a comfortable victory over Ryman League Premier Division strugglers Redbridge at Park View Road.

Any nerves the Wings may have felt about a possible upset were quickly calmed as striker Che Stadhart put Adrian Pennock's side 2-0 up within the first 25 minutes and Danny Kedwell had made it three before the break.

As Welling eased off in the second half Redbridge, who have won just one league match all season, were allowed to come back into the game.

Mitch Han pulled one back for the visitors but Jamie Day restored the three-goal cushion in injury time to complete a 4-1 win.
