Welling 2 Bath City 1; Maidenhead 4 Bromley 0
Dominant Welling registered their first Blue Square South win in four matches after completing a double over Bath on Saturday.
The Wings led 2-0 by the break although the final scoreline failed to reflect their dominance.
After a sustained period of pressure, the hosts took a 17th minute lead when Moses Ademola's clever flick left Matt Coupe flat-footed and Charlie Sheringham drove home the loose ball.
Sheringham then just failed to connect with Ademola's cross before a goal of the season contender put Welling two up on 25 minutes.
Sonny Cobbs long free-kick was headed down by Sheringham and Loui Fazackerley chested and then volleyed in one movement to leave keeper Steve Perrin stranded by his 20-yard effort.
Sheringham then failed to pick out strike partner Ademola on the stroke of half-time and the on-loan Brentford forward volleyed over at the start of the second period.
The visitors finally came into the contest after pushing men forward and after keeper Clarke Masters denied Dave Gilroy and substitute Stuart Douglas, Coupe volleyed the ball in after Richard Evans's deflected free-kick came off the bar.
Welling had enough chances to avoid a nerve-jangling finale, as both Sheringham and Fazackerley somehow contrived to miss open goals.
Meanwhile, it wasn't such a good day for Bromley who went down to a heavy 4-0 defeat at Maidenhead.
There was no doubt which side deserved the three points, with an experienced Maidenhead side including the likes of Rocky Baptiste, Dale Binns and Richard Pacquette dominating the game - but the 4-0 scoreline flattered the hosts, who scored twice late on.
The only goal of a scrappy first half came on 15 minutes when skipper Ashley Nichols followed up to score after Lee Newman's penalty - given for a foul on the taker by Rob Gilman - had been well saved by Gareth Williams.
The home side doubled their lead 11 minutes into the second half when Newman's mishit volley fortunately found Baptiste to head in from inside the six-yard-box.
Ryan Hall shot just wide and Nic McDonnell had a header saved as the Lillywhites pushed to get back into the game.
But their hopes were ended when substitute Pacquette netted from close range on 85 minutes and Baptiste's second three minutes later rounded things off for Maidenhead.
