Welling proved too strong for struggling Altrincham as they thrashed the home side 4-0 in the Vanarama Conference.
Altrincham also ended the game with 10 players after defender Tom Marshall was sent off late in the game, and remain in the relegation zone, while Welling moved five points clear of their opponents and into 16th spot.
The Wings did all the damage in a decisive first half, opening the scoring through Harry Beautyman after just 13 minutes.
Then two goals in the final 11 minutes of the half put Welling in complete control. First, Tyrone Marsh made it 2-0 before captain Jake Gallagher added the third right on half-time.
And after Marshall saw red on 84 minutes, Chris Bush added the fourth, two minutes later, to seal a comprehensive win.
